This week, I saw my friend posted an announcement to several friends on Facebook. It was a marketing material. Bloggers Care

Friday, January 16th, 2009

Blogosphere keep amazed me from time to time. I know that bloggers get many benefits from blogging. You name it. Some of them can get extra cash from this activity. Some other using it as a media to promote their products. Some just think that building a community around his/her blog is good enough. It is quite a long list to mention what might be considered as benefits.

This is what a just found. Bloggers Care, or ‘Blogger Peduli’. This blog is founded by some senior bloggers in Indonesia. I have to admit, they are very dedicated in developing Indonesian blogosphere. This time, they found a blog that spread the news about disaster occured in Indonesia. Bloggers will post updates about disasters and emergency contacts in that area. Not only that, this is also a community that collecting funds and distribute it to the victims. I read in the registration form, that they also have volunteers who will help directly on the field.

In the beginning blogging is about content. It become very easy to own personal website. So they who have great ideas and experiences can publish it easily. Now it is evolving for greater use.

Hope what you guys started will be useful for our nation!
